Whalley Printers, founded in 1968, was acquired in 1983 and is family owned and managed by Pete & Marian Nichols. Over the years we have built up a broad in-house production capability with excellent equipment which allows us to provide our customers with quality products. We concentrate on custom design and production of printed materials.
Our customers extend beyond Surrey to businesses throughout the Metro Vancouver and Fraser Valley areas.

We have long been active supporters of various organizations in the belief we have a responsibility to the community in which we live and work.
- The Surrey Board of Trade, which we have supported since 1970.
- The Downtown Surrey Business Improvement Association, which Pete Nichols (Whalley Printers’ owner), founded in 2003. It facilitates business and economic development in North Surrey to improve the safety, and liveability of the downtown core.
- The Surrey Food Bank Society.
- The Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau.
- The RCMP SPURS program in Surrey, which helps youth between 14 and 18 years of age to develop team-building, leadership and other useful community skills.
- The BC Coalition of Motorcyclists, an organization which promotes the interests and safety of motorcyclists throughout the Province.
- “Movies Under the Stars”, promoting Surrey City Centre’s liveability.
- The Centre for Child Development, serving handicapped children.
For his services to the community, Pete Nichols, Whalley Printers’ owner:
- In 2002, was nominated for the Surrey Business Person of the Year under the Surrey Business Excellence Awards program.
- In 2003, received the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal.
- In 2003, Whalley Printers was nominated to receive the award for the under-10 employees category under the Surrey Business Excellence Awards program.
- In 2005, received the Community Leader Mentor Award.
- In 2008, was one of three finalists in the Business and Police Partnership category under the Surrey Business Excellence Awards program.
- In 2011, received the coveted Trev Deeley Award for his dedication and contribution over the years to Canadian Motorcycle Drag Racing.
